So a little over a year ago I went back to school...well I took an Anatomy/Life Drawing class at the Art Students League here in NYC.The decision came after my mother had passed away....I kept thinking about unfulfilled dreams and one of mine was to be a Comic Book Artist & Freelance Illustrator,I had done some illustration work in the 90's but I would never say I was an illustrator,I respected the guys making ends meet doing such work to put myself in that category,Around the same time I got into music and Djing and have been doing so ever since,been lucky to tour the world because of it (art took a backseat for 10 years) but as i'm getting older and now married I figured it was time to draw again a childhood friend suggested the league so I checked it out...it was the best decision I could've made!I'll be attending classes again this year to keep building my skill set,I've also developed a plan to break into the comics/illustration game,through a lot of hard work,determination and a little luck you could be seeing some of my work in print.

I have a Deviant Art page where I will post work so feel free to check it.

I'll also be posting work here too.

This Sci Fi Thriller stars Dennis Quaid and is being produced by Paul W.S. Anderson who has recently done some crap films (Resident Evil,Deathrace 2000) but also one of my favorites The Event Horizon.
Here's a synopsis from Overture Films:
Two astronauts awaken in a hyper-sleep chamber aboard a seemingly abandoned spacecraft. It's pitch black, they are disoriented, and the only sound is a low rumble and creak from the belly of the spacecraft. They can't remember anything - who are they, what is their mission? The only way out of the chamber is a dark and narrow airshaft. Corporal Bower (Foster), the younger of the two, crawls inside, while the other, Lt. Payton (Quaid), stays behind for guidance on a radio transmitter. As Bower ventures deeper and deeper into the ship, he begins to uncover a terrifying reality. The good people at EA games who brought us the sleeper hit of 08' Dead Space (my personal fav) are currently working on a game based on Dante Alighieri's 14th century allegory The Divine Comedy calling it Dante's Inferno,The Game is being described as a third person hack and slash in the vein of God Of War,with a beefed up Dante (as you'll see below) returning home from war to find his lovely Beatrice who has been murdered,with her soul taken by Lucifer he descends down the depths of hell armed with Deaths Scythe ready to reclaim her.Obviously it leans on a design elements that is close to G.O.W. but with EA's track record and having one of the lead level designers from G.O.W. on board this could end up being a classic.

So my man Blac Ren bigged me up on a post yesterday which dealt with video games (which I love)and made a dope top 5 list of games to look out for in the near future so I figured I should add one to that list,a FPS that I'm looking forward to (on top of Gears Of War 2) it's called Legendary...It's about an art thief named Charles Deckard who is hired by a shadowy orginisation to steal Pandora's Box which is housed inside the basement of a New York Museum,unaware of the boxes true identity he unwittingly releases the contents onto the world, a slew of mythological creatures which seek to reclaim the Earth as their own.his mission is to close the box with the help of a paramilitary group or have the Earth lost forever to these creatures of Myth.basically a dope premise which yes we've seen New York decimated by natural disasters and monsters but as you'll see after the jump it takes it in a whole new direction.I've posted the trailer as well as some behind the scenes biz,a must pre-order.
